Stories help children discover who they are, understand people whose experiences differ from their own, and imagine a world where everyone belongs.
We’re dedicated to celebrating children’s literature that reflects the rich diversity of our world. By reading books that foster inclusion, belonging, empathy, equity, and social-emotional learning, we help every child feel seen, understood, and valued, while inspiring empathy, curiosity, connection, and kindness.
Each “brave book” is professionally narrated by award-winning actor and voice actor Nicole Naffaa, whose warmth, authenticity, and engaging storytelling bring every story to life.
Her performance gives each character a distinct voice and lets the author’s words land with the care and emotion they deserve. The result is a read-aloud experience that holds young listeners’ attention from the first page to the last and makes them want to hear it again.
Each feature includes brief, age-appropriate discussion questions that:
